HCG Cares In Banaybanay National High School Through Toilet Donation Program (9th Donation)
The school is not just a place for learning, but a community when one can grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. More than just a place where young champions are honed, it is also a venue where one develops concern for others and advances in keeping oneself upright and clean.
To some, having clean and sanitary toilets are never a problem. But in places where resources are limited, like in public schools, having access to a decent toilet facility on a daily basis is a major problem.
Banaybanay National High School, located in Amadeo, Cavite, is one of the many public schools in the Philippines that have insufficient access when it comes to bathroom commodities. With a ratio of one toilet per fifty students, being hygienic is now becoming their least priority, thus depriving students of having a comfortable bathroom experience. “Bathrooms are man’s basic need and it saddens me that students are deprived of this privilege” the principal of Banaybanay Elementary School said in Filipino.
With this situation at hand, HCG Philippines in its corporate social activity called HCG Cares, donated bathroom fixtures in the said school. In the turnover ceremony held last August 9, 2016 at Banaybanay Elementary School, the ceremony gave students and teachers a new hope; a relieving news of receiving sanitary toilet fixtures that would make hygienic lifestyle accessible to students and teachers.
Through this activity, schools will not only be an institution for knowledge formation, but also an avenue that will educate everyone of the importance of hygiene. Now, through HCG Cares Toilet Donation Program, comfort is within students’ reach.
HCG is actively looking for public schools that are currently renovating and in need of bathroom fixtures. Email your letter of request signed by the principal at hcgcares@gmail.com. The company is more than willing to be of service in bringing comfort and hygiene closer to anyone.
