The community plaza is a busy area with a basketball court, day-care center, Veterans and Senior Citizen’s office, chapel and space for activities such as fiestas and other events. With the many activities it holds everyday, HCG envisions an improvement in the sanitation and comfortable public toilet for both the old and the young. Currently, Brgy. Sta. Juliana plaza utilizes only one pail flush toilet in a facility without a door.
ArchiNEXT: HCG Young Designers’ Competition, a CSR program of HCG in partnership with UAP and CODHASP aims to challenge the ingenuity and proficiency of young architecture students in designing sound and sustainable architectural masterpieces. Furthermore, the competition also aims to orient students in designing for the common good. It also aims to provide them a platform to showcase their abilities.
