HCG’s Kitchen System Solutions Admired In CONEX 2013

For over 80 years, innovation has been the key to HCG’s continued business success. This was witnessed by thousands of architects and design professionals in the recently concluded CONEX 2013 of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) held April 18-20 in SMX Convention Center.

From HCG’s core business of bathroom fixtures, it expanded to three more challenging product categories namely: a.) Shower Partition and Enclosure, b.) CERABO (ceramic board) and c.) Kitchen and Cabinet System.

Particularly, HCG’s Kitchen and Cabinet System gained the interest of many. Among its features are:

01

The vibrant color of Cerabo Kitchen Cabinet is also a reflection of its brilliant features.

• It uses CERABO which has an anti-bacterial property and is easy to clean

• The cabinet system uses a Japanese technology shockproof bar that adds to its durability. The doors are also precise-fit that leaves no space for insects and dust.

• The sink cabinet is made of foam board that makes it water resistant.

02

• The Austrian-hinge of the cabinet passed more than 120 thousand times of push and pull test. The cabinet’s opening angle is up to 110 degrees wide allowing for easy take-out and take-in of stuff. It is easy to install and disassemble. Lastly, its doors can be adjusted up to 3mm each in up/down/right/left direction.

03

• Its steel sink has anti-odor and anti-moisture properties.

04

OTHER Kitchen Design: HCG’s warm and cozy Comfort Kitchen is priced much lower but packed with quality features.

On the other hand, as a new addition to bathroom products, BA886 also dubbed as the ‘Magic Mirror’ caught the attention of many with its value-added feature:

05

• LED ON & OFF- SAVES ENERGY: it senses when somebody is in front; it shuts off when nobody is using it.

• Commercial advertisement tool- brings added revenue to the owner by showing commercials/ audio-visual presentation (AVPs) of products to reach targeted audience.

• With add-on hardware and software solution which can log viewer’s count and several important details.

Two types of Shower Partition, displayed in HCG’s booth, also amazed people because it also served as a walk-through door:

CONEX Night: Rock UAP Rock

HCG’s CONEX night came grand with the presence of the country’s most admired president.

On April 19, Friday, Former President Fidel V. Ramos graced the evening and gave a speech that inspired everyone listening in the big hall of SMX. After which several awards for architects were given by UAP and prizes were also raffled courtesy of HCG. For the rest of the evening, the architects and VIPs were entertained by HCG employees from each division and also our very own Jem Salandanan with her melodic rendition of OPM hits. Rox Puno, son of Rico J. Puno, and his band also played ‘Manila Sound’ songs that made everyone stand-up their feet and dance the night away.
