After more than 1 year, families displaced by Typhoon Sendong have finally found a home in GMA Kapuso Village in Iligan City.

On April 13, 2013, GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) turned-over 120 houses to selected families led by GMAKF EVP and COO Mel Tiangco together with the City Government of Iligan.

HCG is honored to be part of this corporate social responsibility effort because the company believes that every Filipinos deserve a bathroom worth living. Prior to the inauguration, HCG donated 200 sets of water closets. As a way of GMAKF’s appreciation to our support throughout the years, especially in this project, one street was named after HCG.
